Why are your prices so low? |
Our prices are significantly lower than many other web design companies because we are able to keep our overheads and costs to an absolute minimum. Whilst we are pleased to be able to pass these savings on to our customers by offering lower prices, we are no less committed to producing high quality websites than any of our higher-priced competitors.

I’ve got my quotation - what now? |
Your online quotation provides an accurate costing for the design and hosting of a website containing the features that you selected. If you require further information you should contact us using either the online form, which is included at Step 3 of the instant quotation or by any of the means listed on our contact page.

How do I order my website? |
Once you have decided that you wish to proceed we will ask you to make an initial payment - normally 25% of the projected cost of the completed website. Once this payment has been received we will register any domain names that you require and commence work on your website. You will not be asked to pay the balance of the cost until the website has been completed to your total satisfaction.

What happens once I've placed my order? |
Back to top |
We have designed successful websites for literally dozens of small and medium-sized businesses. As all our work is carried out remotely, i.e. we do not need to visit you, we begin by telephoning you to discuss all aspects of your new website and offer advice on the style and features that will best suit your business and your target market. Once the basic concept has been agreed we will begin work on the design while you prepare the content that is to be included. We will continue to consult with you throughout the design and construction period to ensure that the emerging website meets with your full approval.

|
How long will it take to design my website? |
Back to top |
That will depend very much upon the size and complexity of your website, our workload at the time, and last, but definitely not least, the time that it takes you to supply us with the content that we will need to include in the site. As a guide, a website of five pages or less, with no complex features, could probably be completed in less than two weeks - whilst a large, fully-featured e-commerce site may well take two or three months.
|
|
Will my website look just like everyone else's? |
Back to top |
Certainly not! All of our websites are individually designed and tailored to meet the needs of each and every customer. We do not use any off-the shelf designs or templates. Visit our portfolio to see a small selection of some of the websites that we have designed.

|
What if I need to add extra pages? |
No problem. If you decide you need more pages, additional images, or any other features not included in the original costing of your website, these can be added at any time. In the event of additional costs, we will always tell you exactly what they are before proceeding.

Can I sell things from my website? |
That depends. If you just want to take orders online, which you then process and invoice as normal, then the necessary facilities can be incorporated on just about any website. If, however, you wish to take payments online by means of credit/debit cards, you will need either to obtain an Internet merchants account from your bank or consider the use of a payment processing facility such as that offered by WorldPay. Full details of the options available can be found in the E-Commerce section of our website.

|
Can my website be updated after it is finished? |
Back to top |
Yes, your website can be updated at any time. If you only require very minor and infrequent changes, e.g. a few words of text or a couple of prices, we will carry them out for you without charge. For more substantial updates, e.g. whole sections of text or replacement graphics, we make a charge of £15 per hour (minimum charge £15).
|
|
Can I update and make changes to my website myself? |
Back to top |
Yes. We can provide you with full FTP access to your website for a one-time charge of £25. However, once access details have been supplied to you we no longer accept responsibility for the functionality of the website (and you pay only our standard hosting charge of £3.95 per month in your second and subsequent years).
You can also request the installation of up-dating software and we will be happy to instal this for you, contact us for more details.
